Don - I must've really put my question the wrong way. I despise shorters in general and recommended DAK to a friend at 0.44...watched it go above 0.60 and legitimately thought it was going past a dollar real soon. And it probably will!!! I just noticed that you seemed to be the most knowledgeable about the stock -- and/or the most confident in its prospects -- so I thought I'd see what your take was. Seems I offended you quite badly. My apologies to all who took my what I intended to be an innocent question that way. It only referred to someone else's post which seemed to indicate that drilling would be starting again soon. I have been watching the small-cap mining stock game long enough to know that there is excitement on pending news, volatility on news, and a lull between news items. In a lot of these cases, the lull brings a pull-back. The vast majority of companies simply cannot sustain a continuous weekly stream of great news. That is all I was saying. I can empathize with the defensiveness, as I'm sure many a short-seller (or that even more despicable type - the persistent doom-and-gloomer who doesn't even have an interest in the stock one way or the other, but who gets some kind of twisted delight scaremongering those with high hopes) has used a tactic similar to what I wrote, so I will take the hit this time as having not phrased my question properly for this thread. However, lets be clear that I am not a shortseller in this stock, I'm not trying to rattle anyone, I'm not hoping that DAK investors don't get rich, I'm not posting haphazardly for kicks, and I'm not an alien. I may have talked in a way which to you sounded like the hint of a duck, my gait may have had traces of a waddle -- but in this case I'm NOT A DUCK!!! Truce, O.K., because I want to follow DAK along because I'm considering some for myself and want to give my friend the best information? By the way, Don, you and I probably have invested in, or at least followed, many of the same stocks, because I've seen your name many places including misc.invest.canada, and seems like I've been hoping for a lot of the same stocks you've been. |
