Soloea,
I too have the absolute highest regard for Lynn O'Mara. She's bright, professional, knows her business, and has outstanding integrity. She is not afraid to be assertive and tell it like it is. I hope senior management at Irvine Sensors appreciates what they have.
That said, at an appropriate time, I could envision a future that includes professional PR help. This company has outstanding technology and talent--I think we both agree it doesn't need to be hyped. It might benefit from some additional visibility however. As some of their products go to production and as they approach the 'knee in the curve', the time might be right to tell the world a little more about this dynamic and innovative company.
Some of this will happen on its own just because of their success. Look at the growing list of household names dealing with IRSN:Lockheed Martin, EG&G, Panasonic, Casio, Sharp, Nokia, Qualcomm, Erickson, Motorola, and another new household name to be added tomorrow.
Critical mass is building. Patience is required. I'm looking out to 1999, 2000, and 2001. You watch...these guys will break $100M sales before 2001 ends. That sounds like forever to a daytrader but for me it's well worth the wait.
Keep the faith.
