Very astute observation! I bought the April 40 puts because I believe the whole tech sector will likely get a haircut shortly during this preannouncement time. Steven D. Stephen, while I generally share your conservatism, and can appreciate someone who has the skill to time a market "haircut", I sincerely believe that you may have purchased your puts a bit too early.
