The portfolio of Tech stocks I sold mid-day last Friday is down 6.6%. This included Compaq which I sold on Thursday, as well as Cymer, Applied Materials, DuPont Photomask, and Ascend. The swiftness of today's move surprised me. I expected directionless churning until late March or early April. When I was 16 my Broker told me to beware the Ides of March - and its usually true. This quick sell-off may result in buying opportunities in these stocks sooner than I expected. Especially 30 yr bond interest rates resume their downward trend. I don't want to miss out on Cymer at $64.
