How about a sweet poem, full of exotic smells and tastes to sweeten your day.

Sweet Orange

During autumn
the flowers from the orange tree
involve me with scents
that I love to inhale deeply.

I haven't seen
the hummingbirds this year
but then, this window
has been closed for so long.
I seldom come to this room
so full of memories - they put me off.

Now, it's a sacred hour;
bells chime beyond the fields,
the mountains echo
with monks' voices,
and love prayers fall
upon the orange tree.

I think of you with a lingering smile
and breathe those flowers,
pressing my breasts
that you liked to call
your sweet oranges.
