interesting post from the YaHoo message board Subj: debentures By: PROFIT609 Date: Feb 27 1998 8:34 A.M PST Reply To: Msg. 13 by ditchdig ditchdig, i started digging around for some answers to your debenture questions and found out that as of yesterday all debenture holders converted to stock raising $275000 for the company and getting 555000shrs at .495. The company did pretty well too cause they went to some of their creditors and asked if they could pay 50cents on the dollar towards what they owed them since it was debt generated from the past owners. They jumped at the chance. if i can find out anymore info i'll let you know If this is true-it leads me to believe-these holders(who are probably privy to more info than us commoners),must have felt the price was going to rise,thus converted at what they felt was their best price..
