According to some experts familiar with the NT 5.0 beta code, things are not going as well as Microsoft would like.

"Somebody said that beta 2 is really alpha code," said Jon Oltsik, senior analyst at Forrester Research Inc. in Cambridge, Mass. "I think Microsoft has a lot of work left. I wouldn't be surprised to see the NT 5.0 deliverable list go from a dictionary to a pamphlet."


Well. We know Microsoft would never ship alpha code. A long time participant from Microsoft assured us of that long ago.
