Hi, Stonehedge and Margaret. Dell does use 100% Intel for CPU chips. Michael Dell was quoted as saying that they did in the past evaluate (not sure about actually use) "other" vendors' CPU chips, but it just cost them time and money. He sees absolutely nothing wrong with Intel products and sees no reason to switch from them. Tony
