RESPONSE TO REAL TIME'S EARLIER COMMENT:

OK, folks I'm now "officially" a member of SI. Earlier in the day, Real Time implied something was unusual because I noted in my earlier comments (questions really) that I could only post three times a day (SI Rules, not mine).

Notwithstanding paranoia (the product of which is certainly understandable) Real Time even went so far as to paste my first (February 15, according to his record) SI posting where I suggested a member of SI to check posted TRGC rumors on the Bobz board (my effort to be helpful, really).

I don't know, maybe he doesn't like to party. His message to me was: PartyTime, the Party is Over." Perhaps it is, maybe it isn't--does anybody really know? Interestingly, were it not for my penchant to party, I'd be left--like many folks today--drowsing in my losses. Life goes on.

In any event, his comments spurred me into cornering my roommate in order to use her card so I could to sign up. Too bad. I've lived my whole life without using a credit card. But I guess Times They Are A Changin'.

Thanks for the inspiration, Real Time, I've been champing my bit wanting to get in on what I've been reading for so long. I don't think I'll regret my first use of a credit card. This should be fun.

For the record, as of 10 minutes ago, I am now a member and you will likely see my posted visits now and then. I look forward to future dialogues with each of you. Needless to say, I've been both amused and saddened up to this point.

NOTE TO REAL TIME: SI provides you with a four-week free trial (three postings a day) as a prelude to "lifelong membership." I can't fault him for not knowing that since, after all, I thought it was only two weeks.
