To All, Connecting the dots: 1. Teradyne, one of the largest if not the largest producer of chip testing equipment, is sucking wind due to weak orders and deliveries of its chip testing equipment. 2. A few weeks back Micron claimed they were building huge DRAM inventories due to the inability of testing equipment companies to deliver products. It had nothing to do with weakness in DRAM demand.

So, for those who believe these good old boys at corporate HQs would never lie to them, don't you find these two stories a bit difficult to reconcile? The trick to catching managements in lies is simply in having a good memory for the crap they previously tried to spin you. And for those like me, who have a good memory but it doesn't last long, -g-, it is pleasant when they get caught lying so quickly.
