Wizard..the NEC article... great post...nice insights.. where have we seen some of those before?.<G>.. The thing to think about....IF the Korean companies cannot purchase and install the (necessary)next level of equipment, what happens?... A "Static Demand/Reduced Suppy" scenario, in the second half of '98, says that LSI is bringing on it's new Fab EXACTLY at the right time! THEY can afford that equipment. (Similar assessment for MU, etc, etc). Next step: Does that mean capacity numbers jump faster than expected?..Does that mean margins improve more than previously thought? Will we be discussing these again as LSI suddenly shoots up in late May/June? <g> TSO
