I just received another email from Loblaw regarding whose kefir they are carrying. Here it is:

Hi Mark,

The kefir carried in our stores is the Lifeway Foods Brand.ÿ I can only
give you information on Loblaws.ÿ My listing shows that Loblaws stores
now carry the product.ÿ Unfortunately, we do not have information on how
many stores will be carrying this product in the future.ÿ

Transcontinental Gourmet Foods Inc. distributes kefir.ÿ Lifeway Foods is
the manufacturer.ÿ

There it is, factual data proving that Lifeway's kefir is now in the largest supermarket chain in Canada. However we don't know how many stores are carrying it, probably not too many at the moment. I will try to track down Transcontinental Gourmet Foods Inc. to find out how many stores its in and what the future distribution might be. Also I doubt that LWAY has been doing any advertising up in Ontario so any sales from the Loblaw stores would probably have to come from word of mouth advertising and just noticing the product on the shelves.

The new plant online, the new product Basics Plus in the test market phase and other unique dietary supplements being developed right now, Lifeway's products being in Loblaw's supermarkets, I would have to say that I think LWAY's long term future looks very bright.

I haven't said it in a while:

Everyone should do their own homework and research on Lifeway Foods before making any investment descions. Even though I try very hard to put out accurate and factual data at all times I could make a mistake so please check over what I say for yourselves.
