You mean what happened to Newbridge's stock? Well after the Wired report it crashed and lingered a bit bottoming out and then it took off. Company released good financials and the stock tripled, mainly through gaining momentum. It sold off recently with all the other tech stocks and right now it's still a bargain IMO. I think what a story like Wired's does is make people dump a lot of shares who subsequently find their way into friendly hands who know the company, eating up the float. When good news emerges after a shock like that, there aren't many shares left to sell so stock takes off simply due to imbalance in supply and demand this time on the positive side. The Wired articles are often so strongly biased between positive and negative that it makes me feel like I am reading a tabloid. It's probably because Wired hasn't been around that long. It's a young company started by a couple of students. This is all my opinion of course.
