John, I agree with your assessment that a lack of inventory could be as consequential as a surplus. Are buyers so determined to purchase a computer that they might settle on HP by default? Do you have any information on cpq's manufacturing capabilities? I believe someone on the thread has already queried whether the sole facility is in Tex. dulane
