Network Imaging Announces $302,000 Contract Win at Pediatric Services Of America, Inc.
Integrated 1View:Voyager II(TM) & 1View:COLD(TM) Products To Be Used In Healthcare Industry
HERNDON, Va., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Network Imaging Corporation (Nasdaq-NMS: IMGX - news) today announced that the country's leading pediatric home healthcare provider, Pediatric Services of America, Inc. (Nasdaq-NMS: PSAI - news), has signed a $302,000 contract for 1View:Voyager II and 1View:COLD. Pediatric Services of America (PSA), headquartered in Norcross, Georgia, provides comprehensive home healthcare, specializing in nursing and pharmacy services to medically fragile children through a network of 123 branch offices in 29 states and the District of Columbia. It also provides medical insurance testing services nationwide.

PSA recently ranked 112th in Forbes Magazine's listing of the ''Best 200 Small Companies in America.'' 1View:Voyager II offers PSA a solution for capturing, indexing, storing and accessing images, electronic documents, and computer generated reports. Using the software, personnel at remote locations will have the ability to fax bar coded accounting documents directly into the centralized 1View:Voyager II document management system. Reports will be automatically indexed and archived in Network Imaging's industrial strength 1View:COLD system. The end result will be convenient and efficient online management of documents which are instantly retrievable by multiple, simultaneous users. By eliminating the paper backlog and making documents universally accessible, PSA will be able to process a larger volume of accounts receivable documents in a shorter period of time.

Wayne Wasmus, Chief Information Officer at PSA said, ''We chose Network Imaging because they were able to deliver an easy-to-use document archival system that can be expanded and distributed at an enterprise-wide level as our business grows, while maintaining reliable, high-performance output.''

Jim Leto, president and chief executive officer of Network Imaging, commented, ''This win illustrates the versatility of our software and its applicability outside of traditionally information-rich industries like finance and government. Healthcare is a relatively new market for us, but there is no doubt that our products could greatly enhance the efficiency of activities such as patient registration, patient record retrieval, insurance verification and billing. Document imaging and management technology could even facilitate collaboration among physicians at multiple locations in viewing patient x-rays and sharing the latest medical findings.''
