The silence of Carl Johnson is shouting to me.
He told everyone to SELL intc when it was about
half of todays price. How about it, Carl. I
have no concrete idea about where Intel is going
in the next few days, weeks or even months. I
have a feeling that in the next few years it will
increase in value and therefore I continue to hold
and occasionally, to buy more. But I make no
guarantees and I certainly could be wrong. Carl just
about guaranteed that Intc was not the place to put your
money. While we're at it, Elaine Garzarelli hasn't been
too loud about her awful call earlier this year. I
would have much more respect for any of these analysts if
they would come out and say I goofed, I erred, I made
a bonehead call. Very few are inclined to do that.
You have to do your own homework, reach your own conclusion
and act on your convictions as an investor.
With regard to Intel today I will
consider selling when something fundamental changes to
indicate to me that their growth will stop. Right now
I don't see that coming but by nature I'm a pessimist so I
keep looking for clouds.

On this topic, I noticed that Jimmy Rodgers on CNBC was
shorting Intel a few months back. Any information on
whether he has held that position?

Good investing to all.

Burt
