Posted at the following ftp ( : ftp://ftp.netcom.com/pub/ma/macica ) site you will find a postscript document that summarizes the results of tests performed by GTE to evaluate the performance of Amati's OV8. The document (written by an Amati engineer but name withheld to keep life less complicated) compares a "real" OV8 to the best possible theoretical performance projections of the proposed (T1E1.4/96-294) CAP system. If you don't have a postscript printer or can't view a postscript file, our shareware friends have a solution to view psfiles.
