One way of judging the demand for Compaq's K6 Presario is to visit Circuit City/Best Buy or the on-line stores. One of the big distributor CDW has both 4540 and 4550 back ordered. You can check out the fact from www.cdw.com. Besides, the HP 233MMX does not appear to be price competitive with the Compaq's alternative. Kamal
