Valueman and anyone with satellite operating background,

This company I am going to do business with have leased a transponder from LORAL Skynet's Telstar 5 satellite. I told them that I am a proud shareholder of LORAL!!!!!

Anyway, I am going to install a decoder and satellite dish myself to watch something similar to DIRECT TV's satellite TV channels. The company told me to install a 36" dish for getting a better result.

Here is the question. I barely remembered that someone mentioned one needed to turn your satellite dish toward certain angle of the sky to watch Globalstar satellites' launch. How does that work? And am I able to turn my satellite dish to the direction I want to watch not only Globalstar's launch but also other programming. I think I may need a different decoder. Correct?

I knew I need to turn my 36" dish toward the sky above Kansas City to watch the program I subscribe. How about other programs?

Confused Brian H.
