Chester,

It's good to hear from you.

RE CIEN: vindicated, yes but it came a little late for me though. I took a loss on that one.

Back to HMSC, I have absolutely no idea/data on the success or failure of BreastAlert. Too early to compare it to Vivus' MUSE. I feel this story could be similar to Geron but on a smaller scale. (Geron didn't have a product but did receive mass coverage in all major newspapers, on CNBC, 20/20, network news, local news etc). I had seen several Geron-like stories so I promptly shorted it after the news broke, some nice profits there. I'll tape Good Morning America, Geraldo (Yuk!) to judge for myself. If BreastAlert is on the scale of MUSE, then I'll hold for a little longer. If it sounds like Geron, then I'll sell on Friday and switch to short.

I established several shorts last Friday: USWB (for the third time in 3 days), NTKI (for the third time this year), ONSL (for the second time), and SPLN today (for the third time). In this market, I've decided to forego homeruns and settle for singles. Waiting to pull the trigger on PTVL (probably within this week).

How're things with you? I trust that all is well.

Regards,

Tom
