I had a far-ranging conversation with IR today. I asked Larry Rudolf(sp?) "I wouldn't normally ask about this, but what is it with all these short-sellers?" He felt that it was people who haven't taken the time to understand the business, and commented something to the effect that "we have a number of short-killing stategies in the works...". At this rate, hopefully the shorts will go kill themselves (figuratively)
