How's this for "pulling it all together?" Intelsat is in a trial in Peru, where a town is installing a WLL system(I do not know what type) and Intelsat will link this town's WLL to the telephone system via GEO satellite. Now THAT is an excellent use of available technology to provide instant state of the art infrastructure at a reasonable cost.
