If this is the case ( I don't have any reason to believe that it isn't ) than perhapes the Zip Built In program is also designed to capture the largest producers of computers.

What's the most popular brand of personal computer in North America, Compaq or Dell?
Neither. The winner in 1997 was "unbranded," according to a report released today by CMP Media. More than 6.4 million generic machines - dubbed "white boxes" - were assembled and sold by computer consultants and resellers, surpassing the sales of any name brand PC manufacturer, including industry leader Compaq, which sold 5.1 million units.
Also in the top five were Dell, which sold 2.9 million computers, Packard Bell/NEC (2.8 million), and IBM (2.7 million), the report said.
A little more than a third of North America's 96,000 computer consultants, network and systems integrators and resellers identified in the study build their own unbranded PCs, the report found. Together, that added up to a US$7.6 billion market in 1997.
