With all due respect.

I've been following insider buying and selling closely for over 20 years and that's one of the worst explanations I've ever read.

To create confidence Al Dunlap bought millions of dollars of Sunbeam stock when he took the job as CEO. Didn't matter that he was already wealthy or that he stood to make 10's of millions in option giveaways if he turned the company around.

Dr. Schmidt could have at least bought 1000 shares (just like almost every new director of any company will do) as a token sign to institutions who also follow insider trading closely, that he understands how this game is played.

Apologies in advance but insider trading has been discussed here many times prior to this and your argument in his defense is well............indefensible.
