Uri,
I don't have much time to discuss the commodore problem but i follow it for approx. 2 years and had a considerable investment in the stock.
Basically, It is my belief the management was not up to par and squandered the company's future by putting all their eggs in one basket, Europe, specifly, Germany. When the German ecomony took a nose dive in the early 1990's so went commodore and its sales. Sales in 1991 I think were $1b in 1992 $750m and lower in 1993 when then went under. I could be mistaken on the actual dates but not the $ and the reason..
i will reply later
