Francis, the 18 holes at about 100 feet were done befor Jan 1997:(NR):
Prior Resources Ltd.
Press Releases On January 06, 1997

El Treja Project
A trenching program in the El Trejo Project located in Mexico has been completed over an area of interest with significant quartz float that was located and partially intersected in the previous 18 hole drill program. The drill core shows trace to economic amounts of gold an silver mineralization over significant intersections in all holes in this target zone. The highest values were obtained in Hole #7 with 107 feet averaging 1.15 grams of gold per ton (containing an 8 foot section grading 17.5 grams of gold and 31.8 grams of silver per ton.)

The trenches were cut with a D7 dozer to a depth of two meters reaching solid rock. The assaying gave gold values in all trenches with the following results:

Trench 1: 10 meters - 0.86 grams of gold per ton;
Trench 2: 1 meters - 0.5 grams of gold per ton;
Trench 3: 4 meters - 0.35 grams of gold per ton and 12 meters - 1.35 grams of gold per ton;
Trench 4: 14 meters - 1.4 grams of gold per ton and 18 meters - 1.3 grams of gold per ton;
Trench 5: 4 meters - 0.65 grams of gold per ton;
Trench 6: 9 meters - 0.8 grams of gold per ton;
Trench 7: 13 meters - 1.1 grams of gold per ton;
Trench 8: 5 meters - 2.5 grams of gold per ton;
Trench 9: 2 meters - 0.78 grams of gold per ton;
(Total average of 1.25 grams of gold per ton).

All trenches wire in the target tuffaceous beccia, which shows varying facies of coarse to fine fragment size, a green to grey colour, a silicified and quartz grained matrix, significant chloritic or propolytic alteration, significant quartz and calcite stock working, and important amounts of disseminated pyrite, The gold values are associated with a higher degree of silification and more quartz stockworking in the same green-grey breccia.

These surface values represent economic mineralization(up to 10 grams of gold per ton) within an open pit boundary 150 meters wide and 600 meters long(still open on strike). The depth proven by drilling and relief to 150 meters, indicates a clear potential of 300,000 minable ounces with a strip ratio of 2:1.>>
I wonder what they hit now, announced drills??? More Grams to the Wind? Gold Dust??? Fineveryfine! Maybe some...COURSE!!!
Chuca-ofcourse!
