ORCL is quickly replacing MSFT as the # 1 software company. I carry no brief for Microsoft, but are you really serious when you say this? Microsoft are IMO monopoly capitalists, and the Justice Department needs to break them up. But precisely because of this, they are a money-making machine. In the most recent quarters available on SI Profiles, Microsoft has revenues of 3.5 Billion, Oracle 1.6 Billion. Microsoft's net margin is 31.4%, Oracle's is 11.6%. Oracle is no closer to beating Microsoft than the "elite republican guard" is to beating the US Marine Corps.
