Oh really now, let's be serious. I love my mac, but the 20th version was a total waste of time for them to build. The 12.1 screen is too small (flat or not); the 4x CD rom is to damn slow; it's got a 603e chip - and it costs too damn much!! even at $1999.00. I think proposing realistic combinations of Mac stuff with the best other hardware is the best plan for keeping in business. For example consider the following: G3/233 - about $1561.00 (although I still like the 7300/180) Hitachi superscan elite $510.00 from multiwave (0.22 dot horiz.) techworks 3DfX $189.00 + VPC 2.0 $41.00 (plays the PC games) Altex Lansing 43 speakers $29.00 (Best Buy) cheap 33.6 modem Supra express $30.00 (until home cable/modem arrives) Jaz drive $289.00 These are realistic prices & make for one of the best combinations that I have seen yet. l mason
