Mel, I zeroed in on the public key encryption in your post. LKON has a new chip that could be used that would make it impossible to break the code without the key? Is that right? I remembered some Senate hearing I saw awhile back where members of the present administartion would not deny they have plans to enact laws that would require the use of encryption on the internet that certain gov. agencies would have the key to. Such as FBI, Secret Service, and who knows, the IRS. That would be the worst outcome to this new technology.
There is going to be so much new commerce going on that if GIFT get's a favorable court ruling there will be no limit to what the stock will do. Could an appeal after a favorable ruling drag it out longer? There is so much money at stake I would think that is a possibility.
