If this acquisition is not a good move for Siebel, then why would the leadership pursue it? I think there is some negativity in the tech sector today, due to Compaq's problems, so it's hard to judge whether the stock price really reflects attitude towards Siebel. The Wall St Journal seemed positive about Siebel this morning. Once again, why would the leadership make a move like this, if not to benefit the company?!
