<< Remember the CD-Roms Apple used to include with third party software on them?>>

I really wish Apple would bundle Connectix's Virtual PC 2.0 with the new G3s. Version 2.0 is now available for as little as $50 at MacMall. (That's the version that comes with DOS. Win 95 version is $149 - but I already have a Microsoft Win95 CD, and I intend to run NT on it anyway.)

Granted, it would be a little slower under emulation, but it shouldn't be that slow considering the speeds of the G3s and soon G4s.

I think this would be a decisive point to those torn between buying a Mac or Wintel machine. And if they have a Windows demonstration all the better!

Some of the recent Apple fairs I've seen sell the PC-board models, but at $50 this is much more economical. The people I know who have PC boards rarely use it.

I expect it to be like a low-medium range Pentium on a G3.
