Seems a tad paranoid. I trade small caps exclusively and prices fluctuate. It doesn't mean that sinister conspiratorial forces are afoot. And some stocks, often for inexplicable reasons, are especially volatile. It's the nature of the beast. And while there certainly are times that manipulation occurs, I doubt that it's nearly as often as my reading of stock message boards suggests. I regularly see plaintive cries of manipulation when a speculative equity doesn't behave the way an affronted poster wants it to. I suppose that finger pointing is a way to save face: "If this was a fair game, my stock'd be a rocketship, but those conniving bastards. . . ."
