Hi Thread,

One thing is a FACT in LP report.

There is a very strong demand in Europe for PCs. Many customers I know in Belgium ( a small country in Europe but with Brussels as Capital :-) are replacing their installed PC Park with Compaq computers (DeskPro 2000, 4000 and 6000; Proliant 2500, 5000) and the number is huge ( > 20.000 in the next month).

Last week I went to the Compaq assembling and Distribution Centre of Western Europe in the Netherlands. They are shipping every day more than 10.000 units with an average price of 100.000 BEF or $3000. That makes in a 20-day month $600.000.000 for Western Europe.

Hopes this makes you all better.

Peter from Belgium.

P.S. I own CPQ shares and holding long. With this drop I will buy more shares this week. I believe in this company as it have strong fundamentals and a strong growth.
