I suspect it is mostly just that we are getting very close to when the deal for Khazakstan should either become reality or go south. This is a pretty normal speculative trading pattern, if you have just 1 or 2 investors who have decided to try and pick away at it. They will usually set a ceiling price and so when the offers dry up at that level so does the buying and they hope to draw the sellers down to the bid. In the mean time NOT a lot of the shareholders out there are in at this level so they are likely to hold out for a deal, especially since they have now held thru tax-loss season. Just my opinions from what I have seen and been told by other investors. Any other ideas gladly listened to. Salut, Leigh McBain
