This less than stellar news would account for the price drop, although now that the Portugese play has been discounted, this would seem to be a good time to accumulate in anticipation of news from the Columbian play. Doreal Energy Corporation DOY Shares issued 11768250 1998-03-02 close $2.1 Tuesday Mar 3 1998 Mr James Dorman reports The operator of the Aljubarrota No. 1 exploration well is in the process of testing the well. Six tests have been proposed and to date three lower tests have been completed and were non-productive. Testing is continuing on the remaining three zones. Doreal has a 10% working interest in the exploration well and will earn a 9.35% revenue interest in the project. There is no further material information that can be reported at this time.
