Excellent! I agree 1000%. I have commented many times to friends and family about what a piss poor job the SEC does with respect to policing inside information. The law is there. They need to develop a more equitable manner of allowing inside information to be disseminated to everyone at the same time. Material information must be made known to the public prior to trading. Anyone with material information is (under current statutes (1934 and 1933 acts) precluded from trading until after the information is public. Unfortunately, the brokerage houses seem to side-step this issue routinely.

As to my post yesterday about Lucy Painter - man was I wrong!! I never thought she would risk losing whatever credibility she may have had and also lose face. Well she did just that. Live and learn.
