Move on is the key! I had waisted most of what I got from selling this stock. So little was left that I didn't even feel like investing that moeny. The problem is that it is easier to buy than to sell. But sometmies you've got to do what you have got to do and MOVE ON!
BTW-It's MARCH now--way past JANUARY! I never said the pictures are not pretty. I wonder why my glasses have trouble seeing oil. If what Baron is saying is true, there would be more short selling. To have a short sale, someone has got to buy. The MM can only support a certain $ amount. If someone else is supporting (buying) than more would be sold. And since the co. is looking for more financing (I think it was = $6M for 1998), it'd be very easy to cover. If we cannot find who is behind the selling/buying, "private investors," etc. than we can only guess on what is happening. There is plenty of room for a lawsuit--if they only had assets. Talk to my lawyer. What someone calls an asset doesn't necessarily means it's asset, or at least not worth as much.
This should be a hard lesson to all. If you learn from it, BRAVO!
