John:
"Hey, I forgot to ask, what do you make of all the volume in DIMD last week?"
Well, John, I would attribute most of last week's volume to some profit taking. The stock is now coming into stronger hands.
A lot of traders had taken a position in DIMD when it traded in the single digits based upon confidence the Company would be able to turn things around with the help of an improving add-on market. IMHO, DIMD is now being viewed by less aggressive investors, those that rely upon analyst recommendations & exhibit more of a herd mentality. Its the same engine that has recently driven CREAF.
Additionally, we saw some insider selling as correctly pointed out by our friend Mr. Perepolkin, who seems to have voluntarily crawled back into the hole he came out of. As previously communicated, I do not consider Mr. Lee's sales a cause for great concern. The prevailing winds right now are in DIMD's (& CREAF's) favor. A minor swell of insider selling should not cause the captain of his investment ship to change course now set to deliver him to a profitable harbor.
BTW, have you been over to the CREAF thread. Jon Tara (who appears quite knowledgeable) has an excellent post on Windows 98 & its impact upon the add-on biz. Don't know where he got his info, so I will rely upon his credibility as evidence of what we have previously discussed re: the i740.
Good luck. |
