There it is. The first sign of a major bottom in semiconductors. When analysts start naming extremely low price targets for the impending fall, a rally soon follows.

Merrill Lynch analyst Thomas Kurlak also warned that the recent decline in semiconductor stocks signals the beginning of a correction for the sector, which has led the market in gains since the beginning of the year. According to CNBC, Kurlak said the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index, which has traded in the neighborhood of 300 during the past month, could fall as low as 200 by summer.
