The Breast Cancer trials are coming along well. The data collection phase of the trials should be completed in the May-June time frame. It depends on how many qualifying patients are available. Our FDA submittal requires data from 600 patients: 300 benign and 300 malignant. To get that data we will need to process from 2000 to 3000 total patients. We are in the installation process at an additional East Coast hospital. When it is operational, it will provide an additional source of patient data. Our focus will then turn to increasing patient flow.

Once the image collection phase is completed, it will take a couple of months to process the data and compile the FDA submittal package. FDA approval will take a number of months.

In the meantime, there continues to be international interest in our breast cancer detection technology. We have narrowed our international focus to three potential customers: two in Asia and another in South America. FDA approval is not required for these sales so they represent opportunities for near term revenue to the company.

We are also continuing to pursue the application of our technology in the workers compensation /lower back injury market in the US. No new FDA approval is required. This also represents an opportunity for near term revenues. Our progress in this area has been limited because we have chosen to focus on keeping the breast cancer trials moving forward. As additional resources are now becoming available, activity in this area will pick up.
