August, we've been to Vegas, Laughlin, Shreveport-Bossier City, La., but the place to go to get away is Tunica, Miss. Right outside of Memphis and all the casinos are just a few years old, but the place is exploding with growth. The county it is in used to be the poorest per capita than any county in the USA. Free entertainment, friendly people, good food and all the gambling a person could want. I can not remember the number of casinos but I believe it is 9. Good luck.
