Here's an external TEAC , with Adaptec card, S/W "and more" (not a stand-alone drive) for $489 street price. oracle.uvision.com Recordable CD-ROM media is pretty cheap these days, so that doesn't add much value to Pinnacle's product. Pinnacle MSRP of $599 ~= street price of $500. If you look at the two data sheets there's not any differentiators here!
