Let me see if I got this right,I can short a stock on the net but in order to cover it I have to call WaterHouse on the phone to place the order ?

Next-if the previous is true is it a 800# that I am calling ?

Next-would I be better off opening a account at the local office in town,then all my calls would go there ? Or dosen't it matter if I will be useing the internet ?

I find it hard to believe that there system can not be changed to fix what I would consider a major disadvantage.

I may be one of the few people left that only has one phone line in my house,but the fact that I will have to get off the net is just insane. one of the programs I use with StockEdge for it's charts will not keep track of anything that happens when not connected.

If I were to get a cell phone would I be able to deduct the monthly charge on my taxes as an expense ?

Thanks in advance for any insight that anyone may be able to provide to any of the above questions.
