marcos was not involved in the mass mugging of Larry Sherwood. Accordingly, I don't see how it is possible for him to defuse the situation. I am reasonably able to defend myself against people of their ilk, at least when the battle is fought with words. People with the crude mentality of assassins who defame without so much as offering rationale often do not stop at words, however. Moreover, I think they would savor stomping on someone less able than I to defend himself.
