As a young computer consultant i've been in computers forever and commadore had a very bad managment team. The company had from 1981-85 the largest selling computer ever the C64 the thing made in 81 sold till 93. In 1984 it purchest the Amiga and never upgraded the computer till late 91, no joke. Guess what... it was a little late to save the machine as far as speed and the look of the OS ... the amiga was what was making the company money from 86-92 what it did was spend R&D on it's IBM clone brand and other computers you never heard about.

The machine played animations, had full color, had 3D, and it could do more then 1 thing at a time all in 1985 it took 10 years for the pc to do what it did in 85 and the mac still can't do some of the things it did.
It was just like a super computer at the time costing millions.. just a little slower :).

it was bought after a year in court by es com for 10 mill it wanted to use the commadore name for its pc's and spin off the amiga as it's own thing the amiga then was bought by viscorp for 40 mill.

If you have any questions please ask... i'll know it.
