Robbie & All, I think Cramer has hit on what's odd about the semi-equips right now. There isn't enough skepticism (as evidenced by market action). This is similar to the reaction in early '96, everybody kept expecting a re-do of '95, which as we know now didn't happen. thestreet.com (Link probably requires registration, but first 2 weeks are free.) Excerpt (hope he doesn't mind small excerpts): But now the market is coming to its senses. Now some fear is coming back to the equation. In fact, we have seen some Morgan Stanley High Tech Index put buying for the first time in a while. We have seen some call selling, a rare occurrence of late. Indeed, some people are making bets against this market. Again, that's good news. Go back to the tenets of this bull. (For details on that, click here.) We need to see skepticism. It is not a sign of skepticism when bonds go down big (in price) and stocks go up. It is not a sign of skepticism when Teradyne goes down but all the other semi cap equipment stocks go up. It is not a sign of skepticism when the market ramps regardless of the news. ---- Robbie, I agree that DFW is a good place, except for rush hour and they could have bigger trees.
