End of day money flow was POSITIVE $144MM. In contrast, Intel had NEGATIVE $142MM. CPQ down 1 5/16; INTC down 2 5/16

Money flow is dependent on when the purchases/sales are made. If 1000 shares are purchased at $30 on uptick, money flow increases $30K.

So, with Intel, it was obvious there was a considerable amount of selling at the bid or dumping.

With Compaq, there was definite interest with lots of buys at either the ask or on upticks or both.

So, although it was down $1.31 for the day, the positive inflow indicates that someone wants to own Compaq (besides us).
