Michael: I stopped with interest when the subject of homelessness and street kids came up because at one time in my journey I was exactly that. Broken home, the whole bit.
But, I find in your responses to carol and christine rather confusing. There posts seem completely logical but you somehow wander off into areas that are not relevent to the posts you've just read. It took a little searching but so far your ticked off with lack of education funding. Which in my view is a bogus arguement. Tell me how would the education system help a child that goes home to no meal, who's father beats them, who has to shine shoes in front of a sleazy hotel at 12 yrs old and on top of all that steal green tomatos from a neighbors garden just to eat. No my friend education's not the solution.
If I may suggest, how about elaborating in a kinder way. No body pis-ed in your corn flakes that I know of.
