From Kaplan's Gold Price Monitor: Central Bank of Portugal governor Jose Fernandes de Sousa said this morning that the "mythical quality" of gold was no longer justified in keeping it as a key central bank reserve asset and added that "it's much more rigid than a treasury bond."
