Jack: Interesting individuals, but allow me to add a few countries to the list for argument's sake. And it would go something like this:-

The Moguls
The Ottoman Empire.
The Greeks (particularly 'wonder boy' Alexander the not so great)
The Romans
The Portuguese,
The Spaniards (particularly the 'inquistion' as a movement),
The Khan himself (i guess he should have been first on the
list.),
The Vikings,
The 'not so great' Britan of Old
The Dutch (Afrikaans are of particular interest)
The French (I almost missed them there for a minute)
Oh the Japanese,almost got away from my list.

I am sure there are more. Worswick come and help us out here will you? <gg> Perhaps 'humans' as we know them are not what THEY are cracked up to be,eh?
